Overview

What this service covers

If your study involves latent constructs and a hypothesised model — mediation, multiple paths, a measurement model to validate — a supervisor or reviewer may have said "use SEM," which usually means AMOS. It is a powerful tool with a steep learning curve, and small setup errors produce results that look fine but are wrong.

Is CB-SEM justified

We start by checking whether your sample size, data distribution and model justify covariance-based SEM — and tell you if they do not.

Measurement model

We build the measurement model first: confirmatory factor analysis, then reliability, convergent validity (AVE, CR) and discriminant validity, with problem items flagged and options explained.

Structural model

We run the structural model, report the fit indices (χ²/df, CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR) and interpret each path coefficient.

Mediation & moderation

We test mediation and moderation with bootstrapping, reporting direct, indirect and total effects.

Diagram & tables

You receive the AMOS path diagram with standardised estimates, the full results tables, and a hypothesis-by-hypothesis summary.

The model is yours

We explain each result to you so that, in the viva, the model is yours and not ours.
