Publication ethics
Ethical publishing is the foundation of scholarly trust. These principles guide every title we publish and align with widely recognised standards of responsible publishing.
Principles of responsible publishing
Transparency
Clear, honest communication about our processes, decisions and expectations at every stage of publication.
Editorial Integrity
Editorial decisions are made on scholarly merit alone, free from commercial or personal influence.
Authorship & Attribution
Authorship reflects genuine intellectual contribution, and all sources are properly cited and credited.
Originality
We expect original work and take plagiarism, fabrication and falsification seriously.
Responsible Conduct
Conflicts of interest are disclosed, and concerns are handled fairly and confidentially.
Against Predatory Practices
We reject predatory publishing in all forms and uphold the trust the scholarly record depends on.
How we uphold these standards
Every manuscript submitted to TRB Academic Press is assessed for scholarly quality, originality and ethical soundness. We work with authors to ensure proper attribution, sound reporting and honest representation of research.
Where concerns arise — whether about authorship, plagiarism, or data integrity — we investigate them carefully and confidentially, guided by established norms of research and publication ethics.
We believe publishing is a responsibility, not a transaction. That conviction shapes how we treat authors, readers and the scholarly record we help to build.
